The 63-1573 AirCharger air intake system from K&N replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on 2012–2016 Jeep Wranglers (3.6L V6), dramatically increasing usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range.
This kit includes a uniquely designed snorkel system that brings in outside air from the top of the windshield, allowing you to tackle extreme off-road conditions. Fresh air is directed through the low-restriction snorkel tubing and into a replacement K&N roto-molded polyethylene air box that contains a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter. The aerodynamic tube smooths and straightens the air flow before it goes directly into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain.
The oversized, cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed (depending on driving conditions). The intake installs in 90 minutes or less using your vehicle’s existing factory mounting points.
Note: Not legal for use or sale in California. Right front fender will need to be removed to install the snorkel (kit can be used without the snorkel); no cutting required.
