ReadyLIFT: 6” and 8” Big Lift Kits for ’19-’20 GM 1500 4WD

After an extensive period of development, ReadyLIFT has announced 6” and 8” Big Lift Kits for 2019–2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 4WD and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD pickups (not for Trail Boss or AT4 models). Allowing for the use of 35” and 37” tires, respectively, these new kits are engineered to provide outstanding ride quality and superior handling.

Both the 6” (PN 44-3960) and 8” (PN 44-3980) kits realign struts to optimize shock performance and minimize wear. The specially designed lower mount strut preload spacer slightly increases the spring rate to better handle larger wheels and tires (which are a big reason you want these kits in the first place!). They also include new fabricated steel rear blocks with integrated bump stop landings and Bilstein 5100 Series rear shocks.

The 8” kit additionally features ReadyLIFT’s proprietary “clam shell” style lower strut extensions (eliminating the need for strut rotation or flipping), DOM-steel upper controls arms for perfect alignment geometry at that height, and an add-a-leaf rear spring for a 3/4” rake.

Features

  • For 2019–2020 GM 1500 four-wheel-drive trucks
  • Provide either 6” (up to 35” tires) or 8” (up to 37” tires) of lift
  • Retain superior ride quality and handling for lifted rides
  • Include Bilstein 5100 Series rear shocks
  • Not compatible with Trail Boss or AT4 models

K&N (57-3077): 2011-2014 Chevrolet and GMC Duramax

The K&N 57-3077 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in specific Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD models with a turbo V8. K&N air intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air with less effort than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. This air intake comes with a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the original air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s turbo inlet for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and air filter minder. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a couple of screwdrivers, a ratchet set, and an Allen wrench.
