When closed, heavy-duty aluminum slats secure the Revolver X4 the full length of the bed on both sides, providing unrivaled strength and security. When opened, the truck bed cover rolls up tight to provide full bed access without blocking the rear view mirror or third brake light visibility. All right, I couldn’t help myself with that headline. My failed attempt at cleverness aside, there probably aren’t many such phrases that VP of Sales Ryan Herman and Director of Sales – East Chris Fleeman from BAK Industries haven’t heard. When they dropped in to see us last week for a vendor strategy meeting, however, we hoped to share some new information they’d find of interest. Turns out they had some to offer as well.
With ramped-up manufacturing to meet increasing demand, a reinvigorated customer service team, and fantastic truck covers on the rise, BAK Industries is one to watch in the tonneau segment. In addition to taking in our standard partnership briefing, the BAK team stayed on an extra day to help us shoot some installation video for their Revolver X2 cover. The below photo with Chris and In the Garage host Stephen Fillers is a sneak peek of some of the footage. Stay tuned to our Total Truck Centers YouTube channel for the full release!

Introducing the BAK Revolver X2, featuring exclusive automatic rotational locking rails that secure the cover the entire length of the bed on each side. This hard aluminum roll-up cover easily rolls up with one-handed operation and allows the use of every inch of the truck bed without blocking your rear window. This cover does it all with unrivaled strength, security, and style.
The ¾” Patented Rotational Locking Rails, using “teeth,” rotate into composite locking blocks inserted into each aluminum slat. The cover secures automatically when the spring-loaded locking levers are engaged as the roll top is closed. As a bonus, the locking rail and blocks are are 2X larger, providing extreme security, easier installation, and superior off-highway performance. Heavy-duty locking levers are now 3X thicker, with reinforced gussets for added strength, and are engineered to lock with no adjustment necessary.
